Ice hockey league in Germany started just a few days ago. But the fans have already seen a great game between Krefeld Pinguine and Adler Mannheim. The final result was very close and some players were not happy about it. There was some bad blood still remaining after the final horn. The players probably love old school hockey, so they decided to solve the problems in that way.
Joel Theriault who is currently on 18 fight winning streak took on Jon Mirasty in this fight and it was quite a battle. They clearly don't like each other so they dropped the gloves and started a toe-to-toe war with nasty haymakers.
When two heavyweight fighters decide to go at it there is nobody who can stop them!
LNAH is one of last hockey leagues without strict rules against fighting. You can see real heavyweight scraps almost every week in this league and here is one of them between tough customers Gaby Roch and Gabriel Boutin-Gagnon.
The games between Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators are always physical. The rivalry between former NHL goons Colton Orr and Matt Carkner was a big part of this battle from 2009 - 2011. They fought six times and Colton Orr who retired in April 2016 dominated four fights. They met for the first time on November 17, 2009 and Colton Orr won via TKO. They fought four weeks later again and Matt Carkner won via TKO this time. Colton Orr knocked Matt Carkner out in their third fight as you can see in this video. They fought three more times. Colton Orr dominated two fights. Their last encounter and the final round of their war occurred on January 1, 2011 and it was a draw.
Things get always interesting during The Battle of Alberta. On November 15, 1984 Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers met. The game was very physical, but after almost 45 minutes of intense battle they decided to solve the problems with their fists.
Do you remember the guy who had fought everybody on the ice and then challenged the entire bench in August? Many people said that he would be afraid of real competition. However that might not be true. He is only 19 years old in this video and he takes on one of the most experienced heavyweight fighters in the KHL. His opponent also has significant size and reach advantage. I respect him despite losing this fight. His preseason actions might not be smart, but I think that lifetime ban is too much.
Two extremely tough heavyweight fighters dropped the gloves and let their fists fly.
The players of the winning team of this college hockey game just wanted to celebrate their victory after final horn. But their celebration has gone wrong when one of their opponents attacked one of the players.
